All other tanks tested either melted or split, causing them to lose precious water, however the Pioneer Water Tank continued to hold water after being exposed to the full 30 minute fire front, which could prove crucial to fire fighting efforts.

While a water tank will still prove adequate for irrigating gardens or lawns, if it has been exposed to fire, it is highly advised that you get the tank water tested as soon as possible to ensure that it is still safe for household use.
